Project Description
Medici DAO is a decentralized autonomous organization (DAO) built around the cryptocurrency Medici, which served as the native token for the Creatorverse platform. Medici DAO's primary purpose was to govern the selection and acceptance of influencers and creators on the platform through a decentralized decision-making process. As the DAO token, Medici provided holders with voting rights and influence over key platform decisions, ensuring that the community had a say in shaping the Creatorverse ecosystem. Unfortunately, the project was affected by the downturn in the crypto market, leading to challenges and potential disruptions in achieving the intended goals of Medici DAO.
My Duties
As the lead software engineer for Medici, my main responsibilities involved overseeing the development process and building the application using React. I also utilized Solidity, a programming language for Ethereum smart contracts, to develop the necessary blockchain functionality. However, despite my efforts, the project could not be completed as intended due to the adverse impact of the crypto market downturn. Nevertheless, I made substantial contributions during my tenure, laying the groundwork for the application's React frontend and Ethereum contract integration.
